Recently, students attended the Calgary Stampede and marched in front of an estimated 350,000 spectators

In its 11^th consecutive year, Burnaby North’s Marching Band is an organization driven by high-school students, their director Peter Wenzek, and the Music Parents’ Association. With a membership of 100 young musicians, we are brought together by our shared passion for performing music.

 

 

We are a multi-cultural community of students learning, working and having fun together. We participate in 8-10 community events and a number of school events each year. Our ultimate goal is to participate in the 2010 Olympics. We are looking for new enthusiastic students to participate. The marching band is a great way to meet new friends and play some fun tunes.  We are planning on increasing our color guard this year so there will be more opportunities for people to both carry flags and play instruments.
